You should always have a detailed consultation prior to any botox treatments and never feel pressurised to have any treatment immediately. Some of the questions or concerns you may want answered are below.

What is involved in the botox procedure? You should be told what to expect before, during and after the botox visit. Any special precautions you need to undertake and the follow up care given.

How long have you been doing botox? You don’t want to go to someone who has just started on botox.

How many botox procedures have you done? Same as above, you want someone experienced in this field.

What results can I expect from the botox? You want someone to give you realistic expectations rom the botox treatment and not over inflate the expected results.

How long is the recovery time? Normally the swelling and redness will go down after 30 minutes.

What sort of bruising or swelling should I expect?
