Smita Mistry - Senior Hygienist
She is extremely good in treating nervous or anxious patients and completed a course in dental hypnosis and regular and relaxation techniques to enhance these skills. Her other expertise is in treating young children, proving she is still a kid at heart. She has been called up to give dental health lectures to local scout groups and primary schools. Since qualifying Smita has worked in various dental establishments, mainly in Hertfordshire, including the H.Q for the RAF, Royal Navy and the Army. She also has had many famous clients including some cast members of Eastenders and Holby City.
Smita’s other interests include alternative / complimentary therapies, and is often known to burn aromatherapy oils in her surgery. She is a keen crafter and designs her own celebration cards.
